The global and national mpox situation is developing rapidly. In August 2024, the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared a public health emergency of international concern (PHEIC) in relation to the rise of mpox cases. Guidance may change as the situation evolves.

London is one of the most gay-friendly cities on the planet. But there’s lots to think about when it comes to your sexual health and how to protect yourself. If you’re a gay or bisexual man 21 years old or under you can use 56 Dean Street’s services without an appointment.

At 56 Dean Street we offer a range of services for the trans/non-binary community throughout our opening hours. All our waiting areas, toilets and screening rooms are gender neutral.

Chems are manageable for some. We are here to help if things get difficult. You can have a discussion with one of our chems advisers, please ask us at your next visit and we can get you booked in.

Living with HIV

People on HIV treatment with an undetectable virus level cannot pass their HIV to others. Early treatment is linked to normal life expectancy. If you’ve tested HIV positive we’re here to help. Walk into level one at 56 Dean Street and ask to see a health advisor. We’ll run baseline blood tests and explain your options
